Mike

Mike is the third in the Fragments In Modernity series.

I named him Mike because to me the name feels solid,, like the materials he's made from. The blue is masculine, the red? High alert maybe? I look at Mike and think "This guy is ready to take on anything." A race, a fight, I don't think it matters to Mike. Just bring it on.

Something I think is interesting is that when people come into my studio and see "Marlene" they often try to put her and Mike together. Guess they look like a couple to most people. Sometimes I can see it, other times not. Maybe I should offer them as a set?
